Product of the Day – Cosette’s Cosmetics “Starman” Mineral Eyeshadow
It is not a secret that I am in love with Cosette’s Cosmetics mineral eyeshadows.
I own so many of them and I enjoy each and everyone.
With that said, I have to admit that I have some favorites.
One of them is “Starman” from the Mushroom Collection.
It is an extremely shimmery in your face gold shade with loads of glitter.
It is intense and yes, you will get a lot of fall-out putting it on.
Nothing a make-up wipe won’t fix though, totally worth the mess.
Your eyes will sparkle. I love this color!
Enjoy!
I was not kidding about the sparkle. It’s intense and this is why I adore it.
You need to get this color, it’s a must have!
Note: The swatch on my hand and the color on my eyes were applied over fyrinnae’s Pixie Epoxy to bring out the true intensity and vibrancy of the color.
Product of the Day – Beauty Before Blues “Pink w/ Teal Appeal” Loose Shadow
Pink is my favorite color.
Is it any surprise really?
I love pink and this color even though I didn’t order it myself, came as a sample from Beauty Before Blues.
I love it so much.
This color, as several others from this company, is quite unexpected. It’s exactly as described, pink with some teal hidden in there.
I hope you guys like it as much as I do!
Enjoy…
Such a lovely shade of pink. I adore it!
It reminds me of cotton candy and it’s so shimmery!
Note: The swatch on my hand and the color on my eyes were applied over fyrinnae’s Pixie Epoxy to bring out the true intensity and vibrancy of the color.
Maybelline Eyestudio Luminizing Eyeshadow (Blue Blowout) Review
Maybelline is one of those brands that I’m on the fence about while shopping at drugstores.
I really like their mascaras but I’m almost scared to try out anything else they have to offer.
I already own some Maybelline shadow sets, but this little compact seemed different.
On my recent trip to Walmart I decided to give these eyeshadows a try.
I am really impressed by the color combinations. The quint I picked up has beautiful shades of purple and blue. It also has this somewhat chunky type of glitter that I’m not really loving but not hating either.
Testing out the shades it had was fun. I was able to create two different looks with it. I am not a big fan of blues but the purples were really beautiful.
The color pay-off was good and the longevity was excellent. The lightest blue shade was a bit powdery for my liking but I was able to work with it just fine.
Pictures you say?
OK…
As you can see, the colors look really pretty on the pan and even more pretty on my arm. These shades are full of sparkle!

The only reason why I didn’t give it five lipglosses was because I’m not really digging that glittery shade. I feel like a shimmery highlighter shade would have been more useful. I still see how this chunky somewhat creamy product could work but I’m still on the fence about it.
Either way, awesome product, worth trying it out.
You can purchase Maybelline products at your local drugstore.
Prices vary depending on location.
Beauty Before Blues Review
As some of you may know, I’ve gotten really into indie brands lately.
There’s just something about finding a cute little shop run by someone with fresh ideas and tons of motivation that really interests me. I’ve featured my friend Jenn’s shop “Cosette’s Cosmetics” a couple of times because her stuff is just so darn cute! This time I bring you another shop worth looking into.

Urban Decay’s 15 Year Anniversary Eyeshadow Collection
This product does not need much of an introduction but knowing me, you know I’m going to talk a lot about it. If you are a fan of Urban Decay, I am sure you’ve heard about their 15 years as company and how they’ve been releasing limited edition sets to celebrate.
I for one wasn’t too excited with their eyeliner set even though I love their quality.
What I did had my heart set on the moment it was announced was this 15th anniversary eyeshadow collection.
I mean, first of all it’s from Urban Decay, that in itself should tell you how awesome it is.
Then there is the fact that it’s a limited edition palette, and get this, they are all brand new eyeshadows. Continue reading
